The difference with a treatment through Vanish INK and other laser tattoo removal centres is not just the outcome but the journey. Vanish INK is with you throughout the entire laser tattoo removal journey, and having had laser tattoo removal herself Helen knows firsthand how it feels, and what the outcomes should look and feel like. You can have your treatment from the Bundaberg Clinic or see us in Hervey Bay at Talisman Tattoo, or in Gladstone at Modscene. The choice is yours but the experience will always be the same – a full explanation of the treatment, excellence in customer service and follow up service and a focus on you the client and the outcomes you are looking for.
The R20 method of tattoo removal isn’t for everyone, it works best for clients with small to medium tattoos which are black only.
Although many tattoos may be faded or have only thin lines and you may think that they will come out easily, but the truth is removing tattoos is a real program of patience. R20 is a treatment plan which involves 4 treatments in one session and is available to eligible clients. The pros are if you work away and can’t get to your laser therapist easily then this treatment may mean the difference between getting that tattoo off in 6-8 months and getting it off in 12-18 months. It speeds up the process by completing 4 individual passes of the tattoo with the laser in one visit with breaks between each pass. Another pro is that you don’t have to have your next appointment for 2-3 months. Results vary, since the ink composition and the depth of the ink is unknown. But overall if you are after a quicker method of tattoo removal than this may just be for you.
Cons are it makes it more expensive for the treatment session as you pay for all 4 treatments at the same visit, you may experience some discomfort following the treatment which may be more evident than when having an individual treatment. You may also limit your treatment effectiveness if you are not in great health for the treatment and for the few weeks period straight after your R20 session.

At Vanish INK we understand that the pressure of finances can come into decisions to remove your ink and generally you will require multiple treatments to get rid of that old tattoo.
At your first appointment we will take the time to talk you through the procedure and ensure that all of your questions are answered and we also work on a treatment plan for each client building from one treatment to the next to ensure the best outcome.
Now, along with that planning we are offering an easy Direct Debit system so that you can have your ink removed from just $25 per week.
This allows clients the flexibility to be able to continue their treatments without being concerned about having the funds available for each appointment. And with Tax time just around the corner you can pay a lump sum amount toward your treatment plan and lower your weekly debit.
It’s all about having a plan and following through. Tattoos take time to move and so we want to help to make it as easy as possible for our clients to reach their desired result. Planning to have ink removed is a choice that you make and we will help you to achieve the change you are after using the best Class 4 Medical Grade Laser equipment available for the specific purpose of removing unwanted ink pigment from your skin.
If you are interested in using the new direct debit system, get in touch to make an appointment 1300 616 510 or fill out an information request.
They say quality is remembered long after the price has been forgotten. Have you ever pushed a shopping trolley with a wonky wheel? Having the right tools for the job is more important than you think. You would imagine with quality control and being made by similar companies that all trolleys would be the same. But the frustration is that is simply not true, the welder might have been having an off day or maybe the guy making the wheels was new?
Anyhow it’s like that with Laser machines too, they are not all made equally, operators using Class 3B machines will tell you that there is no difference between their machines and Class 4. I’m here to say that that is simply not true. Class 4 laser equipment has to meet stringent Governmental guidelines to meet quality expectations and this is to protect the general public. Class 4 equipment is Medical Grade and has been calibrated and tested to meet Australian Standards. These laser machines also are considered quite dangerous and as such require acquisition licences, possession licences and disposal licences through Radiation Health Queensland.
Really just like a weapon, you must comply with all of the safety requirements that the Government dictates, such as training and safety courses – now I’m not one who likes to live in a nanny state, but I personally would not like for people to be harmed through the use of dodgy equipment.
Make sure you check with your laser clinician to ensure that they are using the right equipment and that they have the correct qualifications to operate that equipment. Part 2 explores the differences in the effect of the machines and the physical risks the wrong equipment pose.
At Vanish INK Australia there is no judgement on any client as we have also been there, had a tattoo (or 2) that we got when we were younger and are now embarrassed about having. Maybe embarrassed is not the right word – pissed off at seeing every day is closer to the truth. It may even be in a spot which no one else ever sees, but when you get in and out of the shower you catch a glimpse of it in the mirror and think “SHIT! I hate that!”. It isn’t just names, it can be anything from a tattoo which has bled and now looks blurry through to something to commemorate a life which really wasn’t completed as artistically as you would have liked.
If this sounds like you, we can help, no criticising, or having opinions on why, how or what your tattoo even is. Tattoo ink doesn’t have to be forever and if it’s affecting how you see yourself then take the first step and do something about it. With most appointments no longer than half an hour and most tattoos requiring only 3 to 7 treatments, you could be tattoo free before summer this year.
Pricing for tattoo removal starts at $50 and goes up to $350 per session and is all dependant on the size of the tattoo. $350 is a half sleeve size with colour, and $50 is for a tattoo up to approximately a business card size.
Here at Vanish INK our aim is to provide exceptional service with a particular slant on ensuring that you feel comfortable, accepted and assured of a safe quality service. Call 1300 616 510, or book through the Contact page.
